Today in Human Geo

When I got to Human Geo I sat down and got my stuff ready for the day. Mr. Schick helped a couple kids who didn’t submit their blogs or submit them to the right blog. Then we started talking about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I found out that because the ‘‘ALS Ice Bucket Challenge” was created and went viral, the foundation raised a ton more money because of it (I don’t remember exactly how much).  I wasn’t going to do it but I think I might now. Then we started talking about “A message to Garcia.” “A Message to Garcia” is an essay written by Elbert Hubbard.

It’s about a man named Rowan that was asked by the president to deliver a message to another man named Garcia. Even though Garcia had an unknown location, Rowan still delivered the message with no questions asked. Elbert Hubbard was trying to say that if you are an employee and your boss asks you to do a job, don’t whine or complain, just do it.
