9/25 in Human Geo

Today, in Human Geo I got my test back, since I didn't get it yesterday because I was on the retreat. I was happy with the grade I got and it proves that studying hard really does pay off. Besides getting my test back, we went over and added a little bit to what we have been learning about, such as Total Fertility Rate and Rate of Natural Increase. One thing I specifically remember reviewing was that for a population to remain the same, the TFR must be 2.1. Any less show how the population is decreasing and anymore, increasing. The only notes I added to my previous notes that I didn't already have were some causes for push and pull of countries such as: Poverty could push a person out of a country. Violence would also be a reason to push citizens out of their country, as well as high taxes would if a person couldn't afford to live in a certain state. Job opportunities would pull people into moving to their country such as people moving into the United States.
