5 Ways for Me to have a Successful Freshman

The key for me to have a successful freshman year at John Carroll is to be organized. It is so much easier for me to get all my work done if I know everything I have to do.  By being organized I will ensure that I don’t forget my books at home or leave my assignments at school. The next step is timing. I find that if I get an estimate of how long my work will take, then I will know when I need to start it so I’m not up too late doing it. Not procrastinating also ties in with that.  Another step for me is to ask more questions. Sometimes I get embarrassed by asking questions because I think that they might be stupid but I know my teachers won't think they are. I want to make sure I’m always paying attention so I always know what my assignments are and when they are due. My last step is to make sure I’m getting enough sleep so I’m fully awake and paying attention.
