Today in Human Geo we mostly took notes. It was rainy and and everyone seemed tired so the class was kind of dull. I saw my grade on the first part of the test and wasn't very satisfied. The grade I received wasn't bad but it was not my best and I would have liked to have done a better job. I'm not sure what happened because I studied a ton. I am going to try to get a better grade next time and work harder. The first thing we saw on the board was a chart displaying the different general names "carbonated beverages" are called in the United States specified into counties. When we finished going over the chart, we started taking notes on Cultural Geography. Here are the notes I took today:
Cultural Geography
Cultural Characteristics are parts of a group's everyday life. They are the ideas and themes which the group will teach to all members. These same characteristics can also link or divide a region.
Some examples of cultural characteristics would be language, religion, and ethnic heritage.
