I want to start off by saying I had an overall great first day. I started off waiting in the hallway,
talking to my friends about our upcoming day. I think I was one of the most nervous out of all my
friends. Then at around 7:45 everyone went to their advisory. I really liked my advisor because he
was very helpful and kind. After advisory, all of the ninth grade boys were grouped together to learn
about rules, missionaries and what we should expect. The final thing we did together was get out
pictures taken for the yearbook and lunch cards. Immediately after our pictures were taken, we went
to our lockers to get what we needed for our first real class of the day. Of course I couldn't get my
locker open but luckily someone helped me out. After I got my stuff together I went to my class,
Intro to Bible which was fine. We went over the syllabus and learned a little about each other.
Almost the same things happened in my second class, English. After English, I went to the cafeteria
for my two mods off. When I first got to the cafeteria I was nervous about where I would sit but I
shortly found one of my friends and sat with them. It was a relief to see a familiar face and to talk
about how each other's days were going. When my two mods were coming to an end, we went our
separate ways. I went to gym next. We didn't do anything except talk about rules. After we were
done, I had my two mods off. When I went to the cafeteria this time I saw a bunch of my friends. So
I sat and talked with them until it was time for my next class. I only had two more classes left in the
day, Spanish and Math. We didn't do much in either class. They both went by relatively quickly and
before I knew it the day was over. In my opinion, my day went great. Except for the fact that I
couldn't get my locker open no matter how hard I tried.
